Eckhaus Gallery + Art Center
Identity, Promotions, Website

Project Overview
Eckhaus is a non-profit gallery in Kutztown, PA. I was a founding member of the community run project, started from nothing but an idea and some venture funding from the state. As the director of their identity I create a versatile logo, stationary, and initial promotions. Along with it came their website, a hub of information about their exhibitions as well as a forum for art chat.

My Statement
It was a great experience being part of a business startup, especially one that brought more art into a community. I worked with a lot of people and put together an easy to use identity that usable after I had to leave the position.

The Main Street sign was laser-cut out of a solid piece of wood, making a very beautiful presentation.

My version of the website ran on PHP for easy updating by other members of the staff.

Mainstreet Storefront
Hanging prominently outside the gallery is a solid wood sign bearing my logo. It was laser cut into a single piece of cedar, then stained.
